I had one many years ago on my first attempt at brewing beer. (terribly disgusting failure was the first beer) I lost it. So I bought another one. I bought another type to compare them. This capper is a winner in most categories. The only category where this capper fails is in extra tall neck bottles. If you look at the neck of the bottle you will see the top rim where the bottle thickens just before the top rim. Usually there are 2 sizes. One is significantly longer than the other. With a longer one, this capper works great. It doesn't work very well with shorter ones. One of the categories this capper wins in is its satisfactory finish when fully capped. You feel resistance all the way and then it finally gives and you know the bottle is sealed. I also like the magnetic feature in the head of this clasp. You can put the cap on the sealant and put it on the bottle.
