Has stopped working after several washes

I've had it on cribs since early February. My middle child was in an accident and gets washed about 3 times a week. She had another accident last night and during my usual washing routine I noticed that the waterproof pad wasn't working this time. I always wash my pads in cold water and tumble dry low. Very disappointed, I will buy a new mattress topper today.
