Review on πŸ‘Œ Command 17004 Plastic Adhesive Strips: Securely Hang Decorations without Damaging Walls! by Arturo Reyes

Made me believe!

I have to tell you the truth. I never believed in any of those Command products. How could you trust hanging heavy valuables on a hook that isn't screwed into the wall but is attached with glue? I had to make a hook to hang my robe on the closet door. I really didn't want to resort to drilling and screwing in the door. I took a risk and ordered one of these Jumbo Command Hooks. It was really cheap and was an addition to the rest of my order. Installation was very easy. You basically prep the area where you want to stick the hook with rubbing alcohol. The instructions do not recommend using any other household cleaners for this purpose. Then remove the red glue from the back of the stickers and hang them on the hook. Then remove the black stickers and place the hook in the right place. Of course, for all the necessary operations, several seconds and minutes are required for pressing. You also need to let the hook sit for about an hour before hanging anything on it. My robe weighs 5 pounds. This hook is rated at 7.5 pounds. Now on day two I use this hook to support my robe and it does a wonderful job. What I really like about this hook is that when I no longer need it, it can be easily removed without leaving any adhesive residue - at least that's what the manufacturer claims. This product comes with an extra set of adhesives in case you make a mistake and have to start over. Count me as someone who is very impressed with this product. It actually feels sturdy enough to support the advertised carrying capacity. Also, I'm just glad I was able to hang the hook on the closet door without drilling. Highly recommended!
