Benefits: Screw cap works in all directions. Easy to clean. Seals around the lid but allows liquid to escape from the plug on the lid. No problem if the mug is not upside down or on its side. Keeps the coffee hot for a long time, keeps it warm longer. Suitable for drink holders. If the lid is leaking, check the o-ring to make sure it is seated with the groove facing the underside of the lid, then run your finger around so the entire o-ring groove is in the groove of the lid is hidden. Full leak protection! Cons: expensive. The above process is a bit tiresome after each wash just because there is a RIGHT and WRONG way to install it, but it's not that big of a deal. I prefer to hold the cup with my hand as it contains so much liquid that the weight of the cup on the side of the finger is uncomfortable when just using the handle. Overall verdict: excellent cup. very sturdy and well built.
