Absolutely no paint and poor quality rope
I know, I know, I get what I paid for. But it's still pretty unacceptable. The color is a lot less vibrant than in the photo above and while I was expecting a slight deviation from this, it was pretty far from the norm. The quality of the rope itself is also poor, with frayed/torn sections and other random rope material thrown in for safety. Of course, if this rope was used for a real game, then it serves its purpose. However, as a photographer I knit and shoot shibari, and deviations in these ropes because in these cases my post processing automatically adds hours and that is unacceptable.
