Build quality is good. The three sliding elements slide smoothly and the two brass handles work as they should. Overall very happy with it. It works well for small tenons and typical corner slots just over 2 inches in size. However, there are a few things that need to be pointed out: 1. The maximum nozzle that can be measured between the red and bronze jaws is 5/8". I would like 3/4" 2- The etched dimensions on The silver slide (main slide) is in mm - FYI3 only- The etched zero dimension number does not match what the actual zero should be (where the gold slide fully closes on the silver slide). I don't use etched markers so I didn't rate it due to issues with etched measurements.
