Do not bake - will not melt glass.
. This thing can't go above 550 or so degrees Fahrenheit. I have the most powerful microwave, I checked it 3 times on my other microwaves, everything melts normally. I even have a bigger one than this one that generates almost twice as much heat. I have no idea why this one sucks and I'm sure all those other reviews paid for it. The buyer should beware of this.
