Pros: This kettle is a very nice addition to the kitchen and boils water very quickly. Cons: The kit includes another all-plastic cover. Package. It is clear that the lid is half stainless steel, half plastic looks prettier, but it gets very hot after boiling water. The facility may need to look at ways to improve this. Also, this lid leaks when pouring water; I can't accept that as even my previous $20 won't have this problem. I looked at so many reviews but didn't see anyone complaining about the stainless steel interior. Maybe I'm just unlucky?! I've only used it to boil bottled water to make tea, but even after a few uses the inside of the base started to show signs of rust. Sorry, not worth my money, sent back.
