I'm used to drinking warm water and blocking coffee/green so I ordered this kettle. The main thing that struck me was the vintage design and color. The kettle is easy to use. and no complex configuration, just a simple button to start heating water, and then you can pour it into your vessel. Only problem is you can't control exactly how much heat you want, but if you use it you can get an estimate and time. But otherwise it's just perfect.

Nice design and pours well. Deducted a star because it's a little pricey given the relatively thin stainless steel walls, cheap chrome-plastic power ring that cracks and wobbles a bit, and delicate power button. It looks like it should be about two-thirds the cost considering the materials. The chrome-plated plastic base looks particularly pathetic. Pros: This kettle is a very nice addition to the kitchen and boils water very quickly. Cons: The kit includes another all-plastic cover. Package. It is clear that the lid is half stainless steel, half plastic looks prettier, but it gets very hot after boiling water. The facility may need to look at ways to improve this. Don't let the cute design and low price fool you - I thought it was cheap for a reason. A bad chemical smell from the kettle will make the water undrinkable. The water was boiled 10 times and washed off with soap and water but the strong chemical smell remained. For some reason, brown spots began to form on the bottom. Our old kettle needs to be replaced as it is completely worn out, still works but looks awful. The color of this Ascot kettle immediately caught my eye as it looks very elegant, so I bought it. Package arrived in a beautiful beautiful box, like new. Inside the box are kettle, stand, lid lid and spare lid holder. I really like the look of this teapot. The look alone justifies the price.
