The locks worked great. They look good and seem strong. There are no problems installing them. Great option for an old house. In my case, they can't fully nestle against the door, and it all depends on the door panel. My doors are solid wood so I cut out a small piece across the gap between the door and the lock and screwed it to the door. In some cases it may not matter, but this is for a bathroom, so I would prefer if the door couldn't move 3/8 of an inch before the lock stops it. If you use it on an outside door, this gap can make it easier for someone to break in. It would be nice if there were replacement pads for the side of the lock that touches the door but I'm sure that would add to the cost Overall I'm happy with them and they're working great for us.
