Review on Plaid Learn To Paint Premium Brush Set, 50536 (10-Piece), 1-(Pack) by Miguel Kriglstein

They perform like the cheapo chip brushes for hardware applications

Approx. half aren't worth using at all. The scruffy brushes continue to shed after using and cleaning the brushes multiple times. They perform like the cheapo chip brushes for hardware applications. It's too bad because they have a good heft and would be great otherwise. The #2 liner doesn't work well with acrylics. The bristles are stiff and flex together like a bendy straw instead of spreading paint. The remaining flats and liners worked okay, but I expected more based on the price point and Plaid brand name.

Pros
  • I use them for a several things. This is my 2nd time purchasing these brushes.
Cons
  • The bristles are not very durable and tend to fray after a few uses
