First off, let me say that I loved the idea of it being good for travel; I couldn't even reclose my bag after rummaging around to get the instruction manual. It is very easy to assemble, but do yourself a favor and count all the details at the beginning. I was assembling things while we were using them only to find that I had two extra bars and two more missing. It's very easy to assemble, at least when the pup isn't trying to help. Keep in mind that this is not a very durable set. If you or your pup bump into something, things will detach or slide off; The parts definitely need to be tighter. All in all, not bad for an entry-level kit. However, given the time it takes to fix details during a workout, I believe the lower price point would be justified. As for the bonus toys, I wouldn't give them to my pup as they have a strong chemical/industrial smell.
