Review on ๐ŸฆŽ Exo Terra Plastic Reptile Terrarium: Small Breeding Box for Optimal Reptile Reproduction by Rodney Handy

Very nice and functional stand.

Nicely designed box. All ventilation is in the lid, so it can be filled with water for water sports. The large box's low, wide profile provides ample space for non-climbing species. The distance between the ventilation grilles is very narrow, so small critters or larger insects have to stay inside. The two lining doors are a major strength as stacking isn't great if you have to 'unpack' every time you need access. . A good see-through top door is a good size and a light can be placed above it if desired. While not a functional aspect, I also like the black lids a lot more than other brands' toy-colored lids. Lids snap up and down easily. The only possible downsides depend on what you want to put in it. There are no holes or grooves for air ducts or heating cables. I found that the soft, flexible air hose could be gently slipped through the pinch portion of the feed door - it's hard to explain, but it fits and the door still closes securely. So I can install a small sponge crab filter. As for snakes, I probably wouldn't trust a snap cap without the extra weight/tape/elastic strap. If necessary, you can carefully cut out a pair of ventilation grilles for the heating cable. The low profile makes it unsuitable for a "demonstration" habitat, although the plastic is very nice and clear, visibility is limited. In general, it is a very high quality and versatile product.
