I need this for a NAS. After a few days of fiddling and tweaking, it finally worked. Your website is completely useless. You must connect the drive to your computer via USB to download and install the software from the drive. Then connect the drive via ethernet, set up the network if necessary, then run the software, it will be found on the network and a window will open. Finally, in this window there is a link called "Manage Samba" that you can click to make it work like an internal drive would. If you don't map a network drive to it when the drives window is open, you'll need to run the software and click the Manage Samba link every time you need the drive. It seems to me that if the drive fails or you want to upgrade it in the future, you can't do this. Yes, the right to repair :( . All in all I will not buy from this company and I will never recommend them again!
