These shoes were purchased to practice shoe congestion. I needed shoes for about a year and when the last shoe salesman didn't come to the last clogging workshop I visited. So I had to find something to get through the winter quickly and efficiently. These shoes are very comfortable and are the size of a regular jazz oxford. One size smaller than my street shoe size. As I wear a size 7 I knew I had to buy a size 8 in this shoe. Attaching the taps was a bit of a challenge as the soles feel more like rubber than the usual hard surface. The only other downside I have with these shoes is that the sole's rubber traction makes quick heel rolls and shuffling steps difficult. But they cost well and are good enough to get through the winter until I can find a shoe store to visit in person and buy well-fitting regular jazz oxfords. I'll probably keep them as a backup training shoe.
