Review on 32" TV Sony KDL-32EX700 LED by Micha Osiski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

The main thing that attracted me to this model is the presence of network capabilities (Youtube, Rutube .) I want to say: this model does not have Wi-Fi! Wi-Fi Ready - this means that the TV can work with Wi-Fi if you have a "UWA-BR100 USB Wireless Network Adapter", which must be plugged into a SINGLE USB port. As far as I understand, the EX900 models have built-in Wi-Fi. So don't rely too much on wireless connectivity. But you can count on wired. My TV is connected to the local network using Ethernet, in my opinion it's great. Many are dissatisfied with the lack of complete instructions, the TV is quite easy to operate and does not cause any problems. The most difficult thing is probably the network settings, but if you had to configure an ADSL modem, then there should be no problems. I liked the very convenient remote control, which has an on / off button on the back - a very original solution! It is a pity that BRAVIA Internet Video Internet TV functions are not available for our country, well, let's hope that it will work with time. I checked the DLNA functions - this is when the TV can play Media content from the library on the computer. Well, it works, but the picture that is ultimately displayed is of very poor quality, there are a lot of artifacts that most likely remain from on-the-fly recoding. You can, and vice versa, play a particular movie on a TV from a computer, i. E. in this case, the control is carried out from a computer, but the picture in this case also leaves much to be desired, it is unpleasant to watch a real big movie in this quality. This function is probably good for showing photos or music on a big TV You can use the TV as an electronic photo frame (available in the menu). The picture is quite clear and colorful, but I'm not a big expert in this matter, so I can't compare with other models. What pleased me was the common approach in SONY products - the same menu. I first saw such a menu in PSP, then in a Sony Ericsson phone, and now in TV.

Pros
  • FullHD, Convenient remote control, Network functions, USB and Ethernet
Cons
  • Unavailability in our country of the declared BRAVIA Internet Video service, High price
