I really like the design of the glass dropper. It has a little more weight, less rattle, and the bottom-end characteristics are different enough to require less vertical movement to actuate the piston. It also fits a cup that a plastic smart dropper won't fit: my 600ml Keith Titanium cup. I don't have a tape measure around so I can't measure the diameter, but it's the same as the 600ml Snow Peak Titanium mug. The glass doesn't feel brittle at all, it's slipped out of my hand while cleaning and hit the metal container with no problem and I think it's wow. Washed easily too. Emptying was smooth and it only took about 20-30 seconds to empty a completely full container through the plunger. I think it looks a lot better than the plastic. see, well ;)
