I have to give a very bad review. We installed it late last night, it wasn't particularly easy to install, my husband put a lot of effort into it from the start to make it stay. We finally got it as good as we wanted to get it. The deadbolt barely closes on the door but it does close so we figured it was good enough. Well, in less than 24 hours my son who is 20 months old already figured out how to close and open the gate 🤦 completely pointless. We wanted that gate to be used so we could leave the door open and see him play in his bedroom while we do other things, but obviously that's not going to happen as he knows how to get in and out like it he likes. In any case, I don't see a way to make the lock tighter or more secure, and the only way to make it work is to tweak Jerry. BTW it doesn't even lock automatically, you have to make sure you lock it behind you and that's not particularly easy. You'll need to line it up perfectly to make sure it snaps into place, then wiggle it to make sure it's properly locked. It's really just a bunch of money for a useless goal. We've had much cheaper ones that did a much better job.
