Review on Velo Orange Large Downtube Wheel Stabilizer: 38-62mm by Lee Wilson

Added this to my commuter/waste bike/kids vehicle which has a two legged stand and the dreaded case of the front wheel falling through when parked. I had a hard time loading and unloading the bike because the front was always lying around and destabilizing the bike. This device was a bit fiddly to assemble, as at some point you had to hold the spring tension while tightening. nut or bolt. The more excitement you want, the harder it gets. I ended up adjusting the spring with such a tension that it took all of the spring's protection and no more. 'T If so, then they were minors compared to the active 2 year old on board. But it has completely eliminated wheel damage when parking! However, it may take me some time to break the habit of resting my hip on the steering wheel. I cannot vouch for how safe or durable this device is. But if you need parking stability, 5 stars. It works out.
