They work ! at Hardware
I used these plugs along with a few other sizes to plug the bottom of my wrought iron railing, Black Widow spiders nested out of each hole. There the netting hung down a few feet catching all sorts of debris making my fence line look terrible. Now that the plugs are in, I have no more spiders.
