Just received today, not used with food yet but looks pretty strong. The immersion blender, whisk and frother are easy to attach and detach. Has 12 speed levels to choose from, although I'm not sure if the fineness makes much of a difference for basic use rather than just low, medium, hello. There is a turbo button, the highest speed. The operating instructions are well written and easy to understand - no doctorate required to understand them! So far my only gripe is that the directions say NOT to be used with non-stick cookware. As I bought this specifically for pureeing my large casseroles of Calphalon, it would be good to know in advance. I bet that would be a problem for any other hand blender. I think the next purchase will be a large soup pot.
