It's perfect!: Fluorescent Lights
I have a Hampton Bay fan, I unplugged it, opened the bottom panel and found the wires for the lighting kit marked inside my fan. I then watched a few videos on YouTube, read the instructions provided, and cut a piece of wire into my existing fan with wire cutters. Followed the instructions to close the wires, twisted everything. It took less than 30 minutes to install, read the instructions and watch videos. Edit: This is a standard lamp socket. It comes with a corrugated CFL, I recycle accordingly and plug in the LED.
