I've been looking for a 12" stainless steel casserole for a long time. I wanted one that wasn't as heavy as I'd be carrying an anvil but strong enough that it wouldn't treat like a Fabergé egg either I do NOT babysit my kitchen utensils. Too short for this crap! The pan is NOT Teflon coated. Products will stick if you don't know what you're doing. All you need is a little vegetable oil or butter (what kind of WILL NOT KILL most people SO HOLD THE HOLD!) and a little patience and know-how to get great results.I've been using it exclusively since it arrived and have never been disappointed.Oxo rarely lets me down and this is just another example of their great products Keep the skillet on medium heat and be patient If that's too hard for you then stick with the teflon coated version, you'll be much happier be.
