Got a leaf spray right after I bought my 2020 F-150. The same company said they would also install hydraulics for my tailgate. The part had to be ordered, and with labor it would cost $90. Thanks to this seller and the video posted on this product (bearded man demonstrates installation) I saved a decent amount of money. It only took me six minutes to install. The delivery includes 3 plates, one for the top and two for the bottom. I've found that it's best to use a plate with a large oval hole. For this plate I started with the top screw and pulled it all the way down until I could get the second screw in. This made it easy to 1) put both screws back in place and 2) keep the plate straight and centered. Small plastic container of pink stuff, well, I didn't know what to use it for. My video below shows that my tailgate no longer lowers but moves slowly and slightly as the hydraulics take over. To install the hydraulics yourself, you need to press firmly on the two racks in which it will be placed. Interestingly, if one hydraulic is enough, why not two? Time will tell how it holds up. I'm impressed with this and the ease of installation. I recommend it.
