Good hydrometer! Calibrated well, I tested it at the temperature indicated in the instructions, with water and everything seems fine. The plastic tube looks cheap, but there are no leaks. I see some people complaining that the hose breaks when they try to take it apart, as far as I can see it has no threads! So if you use force it will break. Like everything else from such plastic. For those of you worried about taking it apart and cleaning it to avoid contamination I would suggest taking your wort, reading the hydrometer and NOT pouring it back into the fermentor, it's only one cup anyway Spice. , It's worth it!
