Review on 🐠 Efficient and Compact: Eheim AEH1001310 Compact Water Pump 600 for Aquarium by Alicia Moore

The pumps have been working well for over a year. The inlets were cleaned once a month. The problem arose shortly after, when I found some kind of parasitic tension when I put my hands in the pan. Couldn't figure out the problem until a week later when a fireball erupted from the pump in the swamp. It was quite flashy and smelled like an electrical short. Luckily nothing caught fire. I blamed it on a weird problem until a week later a second Eheim compact 600 showed the same arcing light and I unplugged it before it set my house on fire. Someone at Eheim needs to investigate this failure mode.
