Great little pump.

It's in an EVO 13.5 seawater tank, river pump replaced, great little pump! Powers two 1/4" output random flux generators and is excellent for generating the flux needed in nanomarine habitats.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Slightly torn

So far, so good. on aquarium pumps and filters

I bought two and both are in an innovative 20 gallon marine aquarium. I've had them running in the tank for 5 months and haven't had any problems. They are pretty quiet pumps but I was hoping they would be a little weaker.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some small things

Fountain pump Ehemim 600 - BEST

Fountain pump Ehemim 600 - BEST! We use it for tabletop fountains. The pump is very quiet and works exactly when the water flow meets your needs. There is a very wide and easy sliding flow adjustment knob. This is the very first pump to restart after a power failure. Certainly not those cheap pumps made in China.3 year guarantee is an additional bonus.Made in Germany and of high quality.Simply the best product in its class.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast

Dangerous sparks are best for water pumps. Accessories

The pumps have been working well for over a year. The inlets were cleaned once a month. The problem arose shortly after, when I found some kind of parasitic tension when I put my hands in the pan. Couldn't figure out the problem until a week later when a fireball erupted from the pump in the swamp. It was quite flashy and smelled like an electrical short. Luckily nothing caught fire. I blamed it on a weird problem until a week later a second Eheim compact 600 showed the same arcing light and I…

Excellent pump 158 gph. Eheim high quality. Made in Germany.

I have been using Eheim aquarium products for over 26 years and have always found that the company makes high quality products. This compact water pump is no exception. I am using it for a fountain/birdbath in my garden. For this purpose it works great. I believe 600 stands for liters which is 158 gallons per hour. If desired, you can reduce the flow by moving the inlet restrictor slide. a pump of this size but you get a great warranty and a high quality pump. I have pumps that are 20 years old

Great upgrade for Biocube 8 or replacement for MiniJet 606

Great little pump that fits my old pump chamber Oceanic Biocube 8 The pump for this application used to be a Minijet 606 which is no longer made. The Eheim Compact 600 fulfills the same role in almost the same form factor. The standard Biocube pump has a capacity of 97 gph, so switching to this pump will give you about an extra 60 gph, resulting in about a 62% increase in flow! Edit: I removed this pump from my tank, it works great and has a high flow but also generates a significant amount of…

Steel parts may rust

The impeller of Eheim's AEH1001310 600 compact water pump has an exposed steel shaft, raising concerns about rusting when used in salt water. Unlike other pumps whose exposed parts are ceramic or plastic. According to the description (at least on the Eheim website) it is suitable for use in salt water, but even the best steel can rust in salt water. Eheim makes a lot of good aquarium products so I trust them enough to use this pump in saltwater but plan to keep a close eye on the shaft for…
