I ordered two of these devices so I can have two different homes that can be disconnected and reconnected to our shared internet system (if it fails it has to be disconnected and restarted). But unfortunately each unit worked with a different code. The instructions didn't help entirely (although it would have worked if I had just tried to program one unit to respond to either remote). Instead I contacted the company and they were quick to reply that yes, both remotes - regardless of the code number on the unit - can be programmed for the same power control. Well, the opposite is true: the power controller can be programmed to receive signals from either remote control. Very flexible, very cool, great service!
