This thing is AWESOME. A Har*** Fr***** hose reel has been hanging in my garage for a few years. Those familiar with the brand will understand that this is great value for money, but not of the quality you would expect to last forever. The hose was leaking near the end fitting and I was plagued by the need to replace the 50ft hose. hose until I found this Dixon fitting at Revain. It took 10 seconds to cut the hose just above the leak. 30 seconds to attach the outer fitting and 20 seconds to screw in the inner fitting. Add another minute to add a new quick adjustment and I'm back in business. The hardest part of the whole process was getting an accurate hose outside diameter (OD) measurement before ordering the fitting to make sure it was the right one. If you have an RF hose, it's 11/16".
