This is a great product that works exactly as advertised. This way you can salvage a discarded hose if an old end connection fails. There is one suggestion however, before attempting to attach the device to the hose end, of course cut off the old hose end and then apply pneumatic oil to the inside of the hose end and to the threaded end that will be screwed into the fitting and hose.
