Almost exactly what the doctor ordered! I built a custom corner shelf that went around the corner in an L shape. The idea was to cut special glass for the shelves, get some nice shelf brackets, and depending on the holes in the brackets rather than drilling some, I'd like these suction cups to fit snugly in them to support the glass and to hold. shelves available. This is probably because some of them were flattened, so part of the suction cup took the shape of a closed clam shell, making it awkward to try to open and put glass on top to hold the suction. But I ended up throwing them away. But I had 20 of them so throwing away 3-5 wasn't so bad.
