Neither a glossy nor a matte finish was specified in the description. As a dummy, I assumed I would get a matte finish, but I ended up with a glossy screen. I am still happy with my purchase. Samsung asked $289 Replace mine the screen is done in 10 minutes and anyone can do it anyway check out youtube they replaced the screen and it looks great."
