Wow, they weren't kidding when they said the hardware was rubbish. as well as instructions. 1/8" and 1/4" drill bits can't possibly be big enough and unfortunately most standard drill bit sets are no larger than 1/4". I wanted to flush mine so I had to buy a larger bit. Still, it was a very tight grip - I had to tap them gently with a hammer to get the pins in. The finish on the numbers also looks pretty poor - rough around the edges, I'm afraid the coating might chip off after winter seriously considering covering them with a protective varnish, they were cheap and turned out beautiful so it was worth taking the time to paint them.
