I purchased this drive to continue using the drive I removed from my 2012 iMac. I also use Boot Camp to run Windows 10 and this dock worked fine on both OSes without drivers. I accidentally ordered this USB-C version, but I have an external USB 3.0 drive with the same USB-B connector, and the dock works well with it, allowing you to use it on older computers with a $6 cable . Windows 10 is recognized almost immediately. I tried two 3.5" drives, but it took a few minutes for macOS to mount them. So be patient when using this with a Mac. The transfer speed was very good when the operating system recognized the drives.
