In addition to shipping packaging, this material is more suitable for most household purposes. When I bought this house the "swimming tub" had a crack so I used a strip of weatherproof tape to make sure it didn't leak. It never happened. That was about thirty years ago. Other use? Bought one of those old beer signs with a scroll inside. The original tape used to secure the ends of the scroll has partially torn off, leaving a black line up and down the scroll. After cleaning and replacing with this brand of all weather tape it worked perfectly. The black line has been eliminated and the all-weather feature means the tape will withstand the heat that lamps and ballasts build up in the sign. I bet you can think of an even better use for this product!
