I bought this bottle thinking I would have more capacity at work. I was very disappointed with how thin the plastic wall of the jar is. I have other well known brands of water bottles, this one was much thinner than expected. I'm sure part of this is due to cheap handling, while I have to admit that part of it is due to the fact that I don't want an already big and heavy (when full) water bottle to be even heavier becomes. That's not really the main reason why I'm giving such a bad rating. Lid. Actually I really hate this cap design. all about it When you tighten it and unscrew the rubber bands, they literally bend down, barely on the lid. The drinking hole in the lid is very small and pours slowly (I like to keep fresh ice water in this pitcher and flavored water in the smaller one). The cap does not close well. Early in the morning on a very hot working day, I found that the cabin had burst and 1/2 to 3/4 of the water had flowed into the cabin. It dries very quickly due to the heat, but I haven't had this problem with any other brand. The fabric handle is fine, more of a hindrance than a help. I really like the built in handle, that's one of the main reasons I bought it. Unfortunately, because the cap is screwed on, it's awkward to hold and drink from, and there's no way to adjust the direction of the cap, as you screw it on tight and that's it. I wish I had done more research before buying, but oh well. I know what to look for in a large water bottle next summer—everything but that.
