Works as it should. I've bought another brand in the past and they didn't shed as much light on things. I had to stick an old lighter into the gel on the burner to light it up, which is clearly not ideal. I tried these lighters and all I had to do was approach the gel and it ignited without touching it. I also like that it has a hanging loop at the end. I do picnics and camping very often so that's a bonus. It's a 2 pack so definitely a steal. I've had them for a little over a week and while I don't light up that often, I've lit them up a few times a day to check battery life and haven't had to charge them yet.
