I bought this because my first gen PS4 screams all the time when I play. Thought it might help ahead of PS5 release but worth it. I rotated the fans as an open front exhaust. Essentially, this dissipates the heat the PS4 blows out from the back while still drawing in fresh air through the open front. For comparison, I left the set-top box turned off for 24 hours before testing both times. Played online for a whole hour in COD, the temperature is rising very quickly. 3 photos immediately after switching on, after 30 minutes and after 60 minutes. The numbers speak for themselves. They were filmed with fans on H. I'll go back and see how the other settings work, but on H it's mostly white noise, even without a headset it's about as loud as a PS4 fan in normal conditions. Like everything else, nothing is perfect. If I had anything to complain about, I would like the template to have a mark down the center and this material was made in the USA. If you need a perfect finish like mine, I folded the template in half and lined up the mounting holes. It forms the perfect crease in the middle so you can line it up where you set it up.
