Works very well. I used it for apple and zucchini. Check out the zucchini cutting video I uploaded. The stripes are thin, like a ribbon. I smeared silicone grease on the vanes. Works well on granite countertops. Suction cups have tabs on the corners for easy removal. Chose this manual slicer over the electric versions because the spiral core holder seemed to work better than other products where reviews noted that for hard zucchini, the soft core was rotated in the center instead of rotating the veggies on the knife blade.
