Yes, the container was a bit difficult to open at first, but I don't close it too tightly and can easily open it again. This tin is really just active solder and dry activated flux/cleaner. Designed to restore and care for oxidized and dirty tips. It is not a caster and will not revive spikes that have had their plating removed due to use/neglect. Flux without cleaning, it will not damage the coating. As this is a lead-free product, the tip temperature must be 250 degrees Celsius+ for it to melt and coat properly. So if you are used to working with a medium-sized lead alloy like Sn63Pb37, you will need to heat your iron 50 degrees C+ more to tin it with it.
