Review on McGard 24215 Chrome Thread Wheel by Andrew Agarwal

I bought a set and fitted it to my half ton truck. Torque specifications called for 140 ft-lbs. Torque wrench used, no dents. I set three with no problems, the fourth had an average tear and escaped. I could hardly take my eyes off the truck. I figured it was just an accident due to a bad cleat so I asked for a Revain replacement. The replacement arrived tonight, the first one I tried to put in broke immediately with no more than 100 ft lb of pressure. incredibly weak. The metal is soft and thin. I would give up and buy another brand.
