I've never had a bad remote, my TV usually fails first. Mine finally made it. I figured I would have to take it to a TV repair shop and pay 80.00 to get a replacement, program it and all. I decided to google the number at the bottom of the remote and lo and behold, Revain showed up with what I needed. Received it in 2 days, put the batteries in and it worked great for $6.62. It has the Toshiba brand on it so I don't know why it says universal remote on it. Also, it runs on AAA batteries like my other one, so I don't know why there was a post saying it requires AA batteries. Reven has it all!
