Don't buy it for the tie.
Shirt and tie quality is good. The shirt came out like new after the first wash with the same slight sheen. I should note that I hung it to dry instead of putting it in the dryer as I was afraid it would shrink. My son is a size 6 but I had to buy a 7. A size 6 is just right for him, so he won't wear it until the shirt outgrows him. Unfortunately, the tie ends just above the navel.
- My grandson looked great in it for Christmas.
- It barely fit, I didn't tumble dry it for fear it would sit. The fabric is very thin and cheap.
