Review on CIPA 11400 Dodge Custom Towing Mirror: Enhance Your Towing Experience by Devon Dober

Dispatched quickly from Revain. I have a 2017 Ram 1500 with turn signals on the mirror housing. Towing mirrors are attached directly to the body, but cover the direction indicators. No big deal to me. As long as the rear and front indicators work, everything is fine for me. It says to use a big wedge on my mirrors but I don't think they will work. They seem to "bulge out" the towing mirrors a bit. I've tried a thinner wedge and it seems to work fine. I even tried removing the expanding mirror and it didn't move. It's good. I will say after reading other reviews I agree that you should use 3/8"-16NC to clean the threads where you screw it in. When I first tried to screw in a plastic screw I could i say i would have probably ripped off the plastic threads in the body they didn't seem like nice clean threads luckily i had a tap and die set that someone gave me a few years ago and eventually i found it a use for it, a good pair of auxiliary mirrors.
