OK. Wow, I wasn't expecting that

2016 RAM 1500 Ecodiesel Laramie with chrome mirrors. First a pretty straight forward setup. Place 2 types of wedges 1 for non-chrome 1 for chrome (1 was thicker than the other) on the mirrors and insert the wedge right where the thumbscrew is. listed. My real only complaint is that the turn signals on the mirrors are closed. That's all. Sure, there's a little vibration, but these aren't $200 mirrors. They are ideal for the casual user who lugs from time to time.

  • Nice design

Good product! on tow mirror

I bought these for my 2017 Ram Big Horn and they fit perfectly! There are 2 different sized plastic spacers for each mirror and my truck used a thinner spacer. You place the mirror on top of the factory mirror, mount the seal to the truck from the back, and secure it with a screw in the plastic mounting knob. Really good quality and I don't know if this is a new design but I have read in previous reviews that the mirror has been fixed but on these the mirror is adjustable! It's very difficult…

Great option for my truck, solved the no vision towing problem

I've read the reviews on the mirrors here and they vary so much from good to bad I wasn't sure but the good outweighed the bad the bad and I bought them. Not disappointed at all, glad I bought them for sure. With minimal work on my part, following the manufacturer's recommendations for cleaning the factory mirror and adding a rubberized scratch guard to the stopper, I put them on and fully tightened them. No scratches, no slips and the only vibration I had was when the stereo was cranking up to

  • Delivery was very quick

  • Requires outlet

Big Bang for the Dollar!

These mirrors work great. A user complained about a broken plastic set screw. Common sense wouldn't allow most people to turn a screw so hard it breaks, it's not that subtle. I found the holes weren't pierced through and I poked through them to finish and clean. After that, the screw turned slightly. This is a small manufacturing defect that needs to be fixed. Another thing I did was add some regular door and window seals in the housings to keep the mirror assemblies from jumping around. It…

  • Nice to use

Looks like a good product

Dispatched quickly from Revain. I have a 2017 Ram 1500 with turn signals on the mirror housing. Towing mirrors are attached directly to the body, but cover the direction indicators. No big deal to me. As long as the rear and front indicators work, everything is fine for me. It says to use a big wedge on my mirrors but I don't think they will work. They seem to "bulge out" the towing mirrors a bit. I've tried a thinner wedge and it seems to work fine. I even tried removing the expanding mirror…

  • Absolutely amazing!

Works great after modification

Needs some adjustment before use. I bought these for a 2013 Ram 1500 Big Horn with a 28ft RV. They look fine once I've made some adjustments. First prepare for re-threading. I tried using the plastic screw that came with the kit but it wouldn't go in when I checked the threads in the holes were all messed up most likely due to the threading process. This happened quickly and hotly, causing the plastic to melt and not stringing properly. I also bought stainless steel socket head cap screws and…

Fairly good, needs some work

This is an acceptable alternative to expensive factory towing mirrors. If you understand their limitations and use them carefully, they will work well. They fit very well on my truck's side mirrors. Out of the box we have a few issues. First problem: the housing from the plastic injection molding process, which is left in some places. Examine closely and remove any excess trim that could scratch your mirrors during installation. Use a pocket knife to erase it. If you don't have a pocket knife…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
