I was working on an American flag project (pictured) and originally intended to stencil all 50 stars. Well, when I decided that this was a horrible idea that would not only take a long time but would also test my patience, I made a much better decision by ordering pre-cut stars and just spray paint them. They are perfect for that. These are simple cutting stars. Nothing fantastic. I probably wouldn't paint over them as they would be painted much darker than the background with the same dye, but they worked great for painting. I did not encounter any major violations as others have described. Yes, the pair had minor imperfections, but I take it as a common thing when working with wood. Overall I am very satisfied with the quality of the product and the presentation.
