Review on Dorman 698-375 Front Driver Side Wheel Bearing and ๐ง Hub Assembly - Enhanced Performance OE FIX for Volkswagen Models by Micael Rau
The first camp was great, this one not so much.
I had good luck with the luggage rack upright for the passenger side so I happily decided to buy another one for the driver side of my car. Follow Bentley's torque procedure, same as passenger side. I thought everything was fine. Fast forward 2,000 miles and this thing has failed. Lemon? I might buy again and try a different one and see if I'm unlucky. Edit: I ordered a second bearing and it looked used. Greasy fingerprints all over the sleeve and none of the mounts shown in the photos. The last two I ordered had clasps. I'm disappointed. I need to get my car back on the road and now I need to find new brackets.
