I have an old Craftsman 12 inch band saw that I bought in 1968 and have used it at least once a week ever since. I have tried many blades on this old saw and can honestly say that Olson blades certainly cut smoother and last longer than any other blade I have ever bought. My favorite is the 1/4" sliding tooth blade for general use. This blade cuts through even thick material quickly and allows me to follow my intended cutting line very closely without deviating, even on tight turns. There is a minimum of trimming and grinding required to finish the cutting edge as the blade leaves a relatively smooth edge. I have even cut 3/4" thick aluminum with these blades at times. I've tried many other blades but I keep coming back to Olson for the quality and reliability.
