This is a great addition to your helmet if you don't want to swap out the welding hood for a grinder shield. This saves a lot of time and is very practical. On the downside, attaching the flip front is a little tricky, but nothing major, and the flip top adds weight to your hood. Disadvantages aside, this product is a great addition to your helmet. Also note that the location where you insert your chosen lens is closer to 3/16" and one" than 1/4", so you may have to open it up a bit to fit your lens.
