In 2019 I faced a dilemma when I realized I could grow kale with great success. I wasn't ready for the harvest yet, so we ate cabbage all the time. In 2020 my vegetable garden is just as successful, that's when anxiety set in and I started researching kimchi and sauerkraut. To be honest, the film and mold that formed with normal fermentation methods was a bit annoying. So I dug a bit on internet blogs and found one that talked about these vacuum caps. There's a better way to ferment, woohoo! I ordered my set and it arrived just in time for my cabbages to be shipped. I started with my 1-3 cans of sauerkraut. They just completed a 30 day process and I was blown away by how easy it was. I need to order more caps so I can make more in 2021.
